About URLVIS
Branded short links with a fraud filter in front of every destination. This page answers the questions a careful buyer should ask: who runs this, what happens to the data, and how the security claim actually works.
Why this exists
Short links have a trust problem: the reader cannot see where a link goes, and generic shorteners have become a favorite tool for phishing. Our answer is structural — links run on your own domain, and every destination is scanned before and after it goes live.
URLVIS launched in 2026 and is built for teams anywhere in the world: the product ships in seven languages, and the scam-detection engine is trained on multilingual fraud patterns, not just English ones.
Who is behind it
URLVIS is independent and founder-operated. There is no sales team and no outsourced support desk: the people who build the filter also read the mail.

How the security filter actually works
- Instant checks at creation: domain age, global and per-customer blocklists, suspicious keywords, TLS, deep-subdomain tricks. High-risk links are blocked or held before they ever redirect anyone.
- Content analysis: the destination page is fetched and reviewed by a large language model for brand impersonation and scam patterns — in the language of the page, not just English.
- Ongoing rescans: published links are re-checked periodically. A page that changes after approval (a classic cloaking move) loses its approval.
- Link health: if a destination starts returning errors, we flag it on your dashboard and tell you once — we do not silently keep sending your visitors to a dead page.
What we store — and what we refuse to
- Click measurement is cookie-free. No visitor is tracked across sites.
- From the referrer we keep only the referring site’s domain, never the full address someone came from.
- Your link data is exportable as CSV at any time, and your domain’s DNS record stays yours — repoint the CNAME and you have left without asking us.
- The free link checker at /check stores nothing about the URLs you paste.
Infrastructure
URLVIS runs on Vercel (edge redirects), Neon Postgres and Upstash Redis (data), Groq (AI content analysis), Resend (email), and Whop as the merchant of record for payments. Naming the stack is part of the trust argument: claims you can check beat logos on a wall.
