Short links on your own domain — including on the free plan

Most link shorteners put your links on their domain and sell you your own back. URLVIS starts the other way round: a custom domain is part of the free plan, because the whole architecture depends on it.

Your domain, your DNS, your control

You point a subdomain — link.yourbrand.com — at us with one CNAME record. HTTPS is issued automatically. The domain stays registered to you, and the DNS record stays under your control: you can move it elsewhere at any time without asking us.

A block on us cannot kill your links

Shortener domains do get blocked. When cutt.ly and t2m.io were blocked in Türkiye in May 2026, every link their customers had printed stopped working at once. Because your links resolve on your own hostname, a block on ours cannot take them down with it.

Every destination is screened before it goes live

Each link runs through a fraud and phishing check at creation: blocklists, Google Safe Browsing, domain age, brand impersonation and URL obfuscation. A flagged destination never becomes a working link on your brand’s hostname.

What this is not

  • You need a domain you already own. We do not sell or register domains.
  • A DNS change is required — it is one record, but it is a real step and can take time to propagate.
  • The free plan is deliberately small: 1 domain and 5 links per month. It is a working proof, not a growth tier.
